Competition, consumer affairs and fraud control officers are empowered, pursuant to Article L. 450-1, to carry out investigations under the conditions provided for in this book.
However, only category A and category B officials, competition, consumer affairs and fraud control officers mentioned in Article A. 450-1 are empowered to carry out the visits and seizures provided for in Article L. 450-4.
The category A and category B officials mentioned in Article A. 450-2 are authorised to carry out visits and seizures for the application of article L. 490-9.
