Chapter XIII: Criminal records

For the application of article 768, the powers of the national criminal record are exercised by the registry of each court of first instance, which receives, in respect of persons born in the district of the court and after verification of their identity in the civil status registers, records of the convictions, judgments and decisions listed in 1° to 8° of the said article.

For the application of article 768-1, the powers of the national criminal record are exercised by the registry of the court of first instance, which receives, in the case of legal entities whose registered office is within the jurisdiction of the court and after checking their identity using the territorial register of companies and establishments, records of the convictions and declarations mentioned in 1° to 4° of the said article.

Article 773 reads as follows: “Art. 773.-A copy of each form recording a decision resulting in the deprivation of electoral rights shall be sent to the competent administrative authority in the territory. “
