Section 2: Financial arrangements for agencies

The budget of the Regional Health Agency must be balanced. The agency has a public accountant.

The agency shall pay, on behalf of the State, to employees who are members of an association sitting on the bodies placed within or near it and who benefit from the representation leave provided for in Article L. 3142-51 of the Labour Code, the allowance provided for in Article L. 3142-52 of the same code.

The State may award contracts or framework agreements on behalf of the regional health agencies. Contracts subsequent to framework agreements are awarded by the State or the regional health agencies.
