The decisions of the Director General of the Regional Health Agency may be appealed to the Minister for Health.
The prefect of the region designated by order of the Minister for Health issues the authorisation to practise provided for in articles L. 4241-7 and L. 4241-14, after obtaining the opinion of the commission for pharmacy assistants and hospital pharmacy assistants, on the basis of an application accompanied by a file submitted and examined in accordance with the procedures laid down by the order referred to in article R. 4241-12….
The commission examines the knowledge, skills and competencies acquired during the person’s initial training, professional experience and lifelong learning which have been validated by a competent body, in accordance with the procedures set out in articles R. 4311-35 and R. 4311-36.
The practice of the profession referred to in 2° of articles L. 4241-7 and L. 4241-14 must have been carried out respectively in a dispensing pharmacy or in the internal-use pharmacy of a health establishment.

The provisions of articles R. 4331-12 to R. 4331-15 apply to the provision of services by pharmacy assistants and hospital pharmacy assistants whose declaration is required under articles L. 4241-11 and L. 4241-16.
The commission for pharmacy assistants and hospital pharmacy assistants referred to in articles L. 4241-6 and L. 4241-14 is chaired by a decentralised authority designated by order of the Minister for Health.

The chairman of the committee may call in experts, who sit in an advisory capacity.
Files may be examined by rapporteurs from outside the committee, appointed by decision of the ministers responsible for education and health. These rapporteurs may be asked to sit on the committee in an advisory capacity.
