Subsection 3: Identification and verification of the identity of occasional customers

I.- For the application of the provisions of II of Article L. 561-5, an occasional customer is any person who approaches one of the persons mentioned in Article L. 561-2 for the sole purpose of preparing or carrying out a one-off transaction or of being assisted in the preparation or carrying out of such a transaction, whether the transaction is carried out in a single operation or in several operations…

The threshold provided for in 11° of Article L. 561-2 is set at 10,000 euros per transaction or related transactions.

The threshold mentioned in the second paragraph of Article L. 561-13 is set at 2,000 euros per session. The threshold referred to in the third paragraph of Article L. 561-13 is set at €2,000 per session for gaming clubs and €2,000 per transaction for other groups and companies organising games of money and chance and sports or horse betting.
