Section 2: Disciplinary sanctions

Any failure by a doctor or pharmacist to provide the information provided for in articles L. 4113-9 and L. 4221-19 respectively , in the cases mentioned in article L. 6223-3, or to provide false information, constitutes a disciplinary offence liable to result in one of the penalties provided for in articles L. 4124-6 and L. 4234-6 respectively.

The disciplinary chambers of the Ordre des Médecins or the Ordre des Pharmaciens are competent to rule on a complaint lodged against a company operating a private medical biology laboratory when that company is registered with the Ordre des Pharmaciens or the Ordre des Médecins. The procedures for applying this chapter shall be laid down by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.
