Subsection 1: General provisions

The statutes of the regional union of health professionals are adopted by the General Meeting, in accordance with the model statutes annexed to this chapter.

The Union General Meeting is convened by its Chairman at least twice a year. The meeting is convened by right if an absolute majority of the members making up the meeting so request. Decisions of the General Meeting and of the Executive Committee shall be taken by a majority of the members present, except in cases where a qualified majority is required under the provisions of this chapter or of the internal rules. The President appoints to the posts of the regional union after consultation with the Executive Committee. The President of the Assembly represents the regional union in legal proceedings and in all acts of civil life.
