The project owner must ensure that the electrical installations are designed and built in such a way as to prevent the risk of electric shock, through direct or indirect contact, or burns, and the risk of fire or explosion of electrical origin.
The project owner draws up and sends to the employer a technical file containing the description and characteristics of the electrical installations carried out. The content of the technical file is specified by a joint order of the Ministers of Labour, Agriculture and Construction. This technical file forms part of the workplace maintenance file provided for in article R. 4211-3.
