Chapter VIIa: Appeal to the Court of Cassation

The time limit for lodging an appeal provided for in the first paragraph of article 568 is extended to one month if the applicant in cassation resides outside the island where the court that handed down the contested decision has its seat.

If the appellant in cassation resides outside the island where the court which handed down the contested decision has its seat, the statement of appeal provided for in Article 576 may also be made by letter signed by the applicant for judicial review and addressed to the registrar of the court that handed down the contested decision.
