Online challenges may be made for the following reasons: 1° The vehicle in question has been, sold, transferred, stolen, destroyed or had its number plates stolen; 2° Another driver was presumed to be using the vehicle at the time of the offence; 3° Other reason.

In the case provided for in 2° of Article A. 37-20-2, the person specifies the identity, address and driving licence reference of the person who was presumed to be driving the vehicle when the offence was recorded; he or she is not required to send a letter transmitted digitally; he or she is informed that any false statement exposes him or her to criminal prosecution.

In all cases, an acknowledgement of registration of the challenge is automatically presented to the person when they have validated and sent their challenge. This document can be downloaded or printed by the person.
