CHAPTER V : Relations between the Assembly and the Executive Council of Martinique

The President of the Executive Council and the Executive Councillors have access to meetings of the Assembly of Martinique. They shall be heard, at their request, on matters on the agenda.

The Martinique Assembly may call into question the responsibility of the Executive Council by voting a motion of no confidence. This is only admissible if it is signed by at least one third of the councillors at the Martinique Assembly. Each councillor may not sign more than one motion per calendar year. At least fifteen days before the meeting of the Assembly of Martinique, the President of the Executive Council of Martinique transmits to the President of the Assembly of Martinique a report on each of the matters to be examined by the Assembly and, where applicable, the corresponding draft deliberations. The deliberations of the Assembly of Martinique may provide for implementing measures adopted by the President of the Executive Council under the conditions laid down in article L. 7224-14.
