Subsection 5: Information

All councillors to the Assembly of Martinique have the right, within the framework of their office, to be informed of the affairs of the territorial authority which are the subject of deliberation.

The Martinique Assembly shall ensure the dissemination of information to its members by the material means it deems most appropriate. In order to enable the exchange of information on matters falling within its remit, the Assembly may define the conditions under which the necessary computer and telecommunications resources are made available to its members on an individual basis.

At least twelve days before the meeting of the Assembly of Martinique, the President of the Assembly shall send to the councillors, in any form whatsoever, the reports and draft resolutions which have been sent to him by the President of the Executive Council under the conditions laid down in article L. 7225-3, as well as projects on which the Economic, Social, Environmental, Cultural and Education Council must be consulted,…

Councillors to the Assembly of Martinique have the right to put oral questions at a meeting concerning the affairs of the territorial authority. These questions are answered by the President of the Executive Council or an Executive Councillor designated by him. The rules of procedure determine the frequency of questions and the conditions under which they are presented and examined.
