Subsection 4: Disputes

Disputes are brought before the enforcement judge in the place where the debtor lives.

Under penalty of inadmissibility, disputes relating to the seizure must be lodged within one month of notification of the seizure to the debtor. The enforcement judge gives effect to the seizure for the uncontested portion of the debt. His decision shall be enforceable immediately. The provisions of the second paragraph of article R. 121-22 are not applicable.
