Paragraph 2: Issue of approval

Approval is granted to the legal entity forming the programming group and to the lead undertaking in the programming agreement.

If the President of the Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image Animée remains silent for more than three months on an application for approval, this will be deemed to constitute a decision of acceptance.

Approval is granted by the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée for the duration of the approval of programming commitments.

The holder of the authorisation must notify the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée of any change in the composition, articles of association or constituent agreement of a programming group or agreement within a period of no more than fifteen days, and the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée will issue an amending authorisation under the conditions set out in this sub-section.

Renewal of approval for a programming group or agreement must be requested at least three months before it expires.

Each year, the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée draws up a list of approved programming groups and agreements as well as the cinemas that are members.Any interested party may, on request, obtain the articles of association or constituent agreements of approved programming groups and agreements.

The President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée may withdraw the licence if the licence holder fails to comply with any of the conditions to which the licence is subject.
