Each year, the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée draws up a list of cinema operators who have notified a programming project.

The programming commitments mentioned in 1° of Article R. 212-40 are reviewed annually by the Chairman of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée, on the basis of an annual performance report drawn up by the exhibitor. The Chairman of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée consults the Film Ombudsman on compliance with the programming commitment. The programming commitments mentioned in 2° of Article R. 212-40 are examined by the Chairman of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée within the framework provided by the support agreement. For this review, the Chairman of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée may consult the film ombudsman.
