Paragraph 6: Right of the Board of Directors to impose sanctions - Suspension or reduction of funding

The total or partial suspension of the allocation of funding to an organisation or the reduction in the amount of funding ceases immediately when the Board of Directors finds that the organisation has complied with its obligations, and the full amount of the sums due to it is then paid.

If this is not the case, the amount of the reduction in funding, which takes into account the extent of the shortcomings and, where applicable, the existence of justifications for some of the expenditure incurred, may not exceed the amount of the sums in question in respect of the year for which the report on the use of appropriations or the justification for the expenditure incurred was lacking.
