Paragraph 1: Projects subject to authorisation

For projects involving the extension of a cinema, the five-year period provided for in 2° of article L. 212-7 runs from the date of registration by the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée of the first statement of receipts for the last cinema in operation.

For the application of the provisions of article L. 212-9, the cinematographic area of influence of a cinema development project corresponds to the geographical area within which the cinematographic establishment for which authorisation is requested attracts spectators.
