Section 5: Candidatures of professional employers' organisations

Applications from professional employers’ organisations are submitted to the central services of the Ministry of Labour under the conditions laid down by order of the Minister of Labour. In particular, this order sets the period for submitting candidacies.

A professional employers’ organisation that wishes to have its representativeness established in application of article L. 2152-1 in several professional branches shall submit a declaration of candidacy for each of the branches in which it is a candidate. The professional employers’ organisation shall indicate in the declaration of candidacy, where applicable, the professional employers’ organisation(s) to which it itself belongs. Where a professional employers’ organisation is a member of more than one professional employers’ organisation with a statutory vocation to be present at national and cross-industry level, it shall indicate the breakdown adopted pursuant to the last paragraph of article L. 2152-4.
