Any councillor to the Assembly of Martinique or any executive councillor in receipt of official allowances and who is unable, in the event of illness, maternity, paternity or accident, to effectively carry out his duties beyond a period of fifteen clear days, is required to inform the territorial authority of Martinique of the amount of his daily allowances which are, where applicable, paid by his social security scheme in respect…

When the waiting period provided for by the social security scheme to which the councillor to the Assembly of Martinique or the executive councillor is subject for the payment of daily allowances is longer than the fifteen-day period laid down in Article D. 7227-33, the official allowances shall be paid to him in full during the period not giving rise to the payment of any daily allowance.
