Chapter IV: Special provisions for medical biology laboratories under the authority of the Minister of Defence

For medical biology laboratories under the authority of the Minister for Defence: 1° The documents mentioned in 4° of II of Article R. 6221-1 are sent to the Minister for Defence and, for laboratories on the list provided for in II of Article L. 6147-7, to the relevant regional health agency; 2° The preliminary visit provided for in III of Article R. 6221-1 is carried out in compliance with the…

The accreditation decision referred to in Article R. 6221-4 is notified to the Minister for Defence for the medical laboratories under his authority and sent to the bodies referred to in Article L. 6224-1.

The results of the checks and the report provided for respectively in 1° and 2° of II of Article D. 6221-23 are sent to the Minister of Defence for the medical biology laboratories under his authority and, for the laboratories on the list provided for in II of Article L. 6147-7, to the relevant regional health agency.

The provisions of Section 1 of Chapter II of Title II of this Book do not apply to medical biology laboratories under the authority of the Minister for Defence and not on the list provided for in II of Article L. 6147-7.

The provisions of articles R. 6222-4, R. 6222-5 and R. 6222-8 do not apply to medical laboratories under the authority of the Minister of Defence.

The provisions of articles D. 6222-6, D. 6222-7 and D. 6222-9 do not apply to medical biology laboratories under the authority of the Minister of Defence.

For medical biology laboratories under the authority of the Minister of Defence and appearing on the list provided for in II of Article L. 6147-7, the certificate referred to in Article R. 6222-10 is sent by this Minister to the relevant regional health agency as soon as it is received.
