Subsection 3: Procedure for setting up a regional hospital grouping

The derogation provided for in I of Article L. 6132-1 may be granted to an establishment, where necessary and at the request of its legal representative, by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency on account of its characteristics relating to its size, its geographical location or the nature of its activity within the local healthcare provision.

Where a regional hospital grouping includes establishments located in several regions, the director general of the regional health agency responsible is the director general of the regional hospital grouping’s support establishment.
