The Committee of National Centres of Reference is made up of a maximum of twenty members. It comprises: 1° Representatives of the Ministry of Health; 2° Representatives of the National Public Health Agency; 3° Experts in epidemiology, microbiology, infectiology or public health appointed for their skills, following a call for candidates by the Director General of the National Public Health Agency, for a period of five years.

Each year, the head of the national reference centre or “national reference centre-expert laboratory” submits an activity report, including a balance sheet and a financial statement, to the Minister for Health and the National Public Health Agency.
