Subsection 2: Agreements between regional health agencies and health insurance organisations

The five-year agreement is signed by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency and the regional representative of each of the health insurance schemes. It may be amended under the same conditions.

The agreement complies with the multiannual contract of objectives and resources of the regional health agency provided for in article L. 1433-2 of this Code and the multiannual management contract of each health insurance organisation provided for in article L. 227-3 of the Social Security Code.

The matter may be referred to the National Steering Committee of the Regional Health Agencies by one of its members or by a Director General of a Regional Health Agency in order to examine the difficulties encountered in implementing this agreement.
