Section 1: Preliminary provisions

The group action provided for by Article L. 1143-1 shall be brought and governed in accordance with the rules laid down by the Code of Civil Procedure or the Code of Administrative Justice, depending on the court having jurisdiction, subject to the provisions of this chapter.

The regulated legal professions to which the person whom the associations may associate in accordance with article L. 1143-14 belongs are : -lawyers ; -bailiffs.

The mediation commission referred to in article L. 1143-7 comprises, in addition to the mediator appointed by the judge, who chairs the commission, the following members, appointed by order of the judge: 1° Two health professional experts, proposed by the Chairman of the Commission and taken from one of the lists drawn up by the Cour de cassation and the Courts of Appeal in application of article 2 of law…
