Article R8124-7 of the French Labour Code

The enforcement officers of the labour inspection system are involved in defining the collective guidelines and priorities for labour inspection defined in accordance with the procedures set out in Article L. 8112-1. All inspectors are required to contribute to the implementation of actions undertaken in accordance with these collective guidelines and priorities. Article R8124-10 of the French Labour Code

All members of staff shall immediately inform their line manager of any incident or complaint arising in the course of their duties which has led or may lead to them being summoned by a police, judicial or supervisory authority.
