The application for approval, accompanied by a file drawn up in accordance withArticle R. 322-1, is sent by registered post to the Minister for Culture, who issues a receipt. If the file is not in order, the minister responsible for culture will request a supplementary file by registered letter, which must be submitted in the same form within one month of receipt of this letter. Any change in status, or in the general regulations, or any termination of office of a member of the governing and deliberative bodies of an approved organisation shall be communicated to the Minister responsible for culture within fifteen days of the corresponding decision. Failure to notify may result in withdrawal of approval.

If, on the date of publication of the work, the author or his successor in title has not designated an approved collective management organisation, the organisation with the largest number of works managed, determined in accordance with the practices of the professions concerned, is deemed to be the assignee of the reprographic reproduction right.
