Article R1336-15 of the French Public Health Code

Any person referred to in the second paragraph of article R. 1336-1 who fails to hand over the following to the inspection officers will be punished by a 5th class fine: 1° Recording data for the last six months on noise levels as provided for in 2° of article R. 1336-1 ; 2° The recorder and display verification certificate as defined in the order referred to in R. 1336-1.

Article R1336-16 of the French Public Health Code

Natural persons are also liable to the additional penalty of confiscation of the sound systems or equipment used to commit the offence. Legal entities found liable, under the conditions set out inarticle 121-2 of the French Penal Code, for the offences defined in R. 1336-14 and R. 1336-15 will be liable to confiscation of the sound equipment used to commit the offence.
