Where there are not enough alternate members to replace the full members who have ceased to hold office for any reason, additional elections shall be held within a maximum period of six months following the opening of the first or second vacancy that could not be filled by appointing an alternate member.

The time limit for appealing to the administrative court against elections to disciplinary boards and chambers is fifteen days. This period runs, for the voters, from the day of the election and, for the directors general of the regional health agencies or the minister responsible for health, from the day of receipt of notification of the minutes of the election.
