Section 2: Common provisions relating to electronic voting

The National Council may decide to use electronic voting. Electronic voting excludes all other voting methods.

Data relating to electors and their votes is processed in three separate, dedicated and isolated automated data processing operations, known respectively as the “elector file”, the “candidate file” and the “contents of the electronic ballot box”.
