Section 3: Elections to the boards of the various councils

During the period between the announcement of the results and the first meeting of the Board following the renewal by half, at which the new Executive Committee is elected, the current Executive Committee will carry out current business.

Voting by proxy is not permitted. For the election of the Council officers, the full members present are eligible to vote.

At the first meeting following the renewal by half and under the chairmanship of the oldest member, the Board concerned, meeting in plenary session, shall elect its Chairman and the other members of the Executive Committee from among the full members. If the Chairman or a member of the Executive Committee ceases to hold office for any reason whatsoever before the next half-yearly renewal, the Board concerned shall elect a new Chairman or a new member in accordance with the conditions set out in this section.
