Section 4: Operation of Disciplinary Boards and Chambers

When an ordinal adviser or a member of a disciplinary chamber is no longer entered on the roll or no longer fulfils the conditions required to be eligible, he is deemed to have resigned automatically. This decision is notified to him by the president of the council or chamber concerned.

In the event of a tie, the Chairman has the casting vote.

In Councils with alternate members and in Disciplinary Boards, the alternate members replace, where appropriate, the full members who are prevented from sitting or who cease to hold office for any reason whatsoever before the end of their term of office.
