Title V: Profession of medical physicist

The representative of the State in the region designated by order of the Minister for Health, after consulting the commission of medical physicists provided for in article R. 4251-6, will issue the authorisation to practise referred to in article L. 4251-5, on the basis of an application accompanied by a file presented and examined in accordance with the procedures laid down by the order referred to in article R. 4251-4….

The commission examines the knowledge, skills and competencies acquired during the person’s initial training, professional experience and lifelong learning which have been validated by a competent body, in accordance with the procedures set out in articles R. 4311-35 and R. 4311-36.
