Section 2: Duties of the social and economic committee in undertakings with at least eleven employees and fewer than fifty employees

The members of the staff delegation on the social and economic committee are informed of the receipt by the employer of the verification and control documents referred to in article L. 4711-1. They may request these documents.

Investigations by the social and economic committee or, where applicable, the health, safety and working conditions committee in the event of accidents at work or occupational or work-related illnesses are carried out by a delegation comprising at least: 1° The employer or a representative appointed by the employer; 2° An employee representative sitting on this committee. The members of the Social and Economic Committee or, where applicable, of the Health, Safety and Working Conditions Committee may ask to see all the books, registers and non-nominative documents required by Part Four of this Code.
