Section 3: Hospital duties for odontology students.

The training periods mentioned in article R. 6153-64, with the exception of the study period abroad, carried out outside the hospital centre to which they are attached, are organised by agreements concluded in accordance with the procedures laid down by order of the ministers responsible for the budget, higher education, health and, where applicable, defence.

The provisions of articles R. 6142-3 and R. 6142-5 do not apply to the agreements relating to the organisation of placements provided for in article R. 6153-74. These agreements determine their period of application and the conditions for their revision. They are periodically evaluated by the signatory parties.

In order to exercise their trade union rights, which are recognised in their capacity as public servants, odontology students may set up, join and hold office in trade union organisations. They may not suffer any prejudice or benefit from any advantages because of their trade union commitments.
