Section 4: Hospital duties for pharmacy students.

Hospital pharmacy students are entitled to maternity leave, birth leave, leave for the arrival of a child placed with a view to adoption, adoption leave or paternity and childcare leave for the periods and in accordance with the procedures laid down in article R. 6152-819, during which they receive their full remuneration.

Social security benefits are deducted from the remuneration paid during the leave provided for in articles R. 6153-84 and R. 6153-85.

Hospital pharmacy students are subject to the disciplinary rules applicable to students. In the event of an offence committed by a hospital pharmacy student within the hospital establishment to which he is assigned, the director of the establishment shall inform the director of the training and research unit to which the student belongs and, where appropriate, the general manager of the university hospital centre. The director of the institution to which the student is assigned may exclude a student whose behaviour is incompatible with the smooth running and continuity of the department. He shall immediately inform the director of the student’s training and research unit, to whom he shall send a reasoned report with a view to a joint examination of the situation.

Hospital pharmacy students, with the exception of student pharmacists in the armed forces health service, shall receive, after service has been completed and regardless of the structure to which they are assigned, remuneration the annual amount of which shall be set by order of the ministers responsible for the budget, higher education and health, and shall be revalued in line with changes in civil service salaries by order of the…
