Section 7: In-patient and out-patient duties of maieutics students

The work placements mentioned in article R. 6153-99, with the exception of the study period abroad, carried out outside the home establishment of the training structure in which the maieutics student is registered, are organised by agreements. These agreements determine, in particular, their period of application and the conditions under which they may be revised. They are subject to periodic evaluation by the signatory parties.

For the exercise of trade union rights, special leave of absence is granted by the director of the supporting establishment and the director of the maieutics training structure, under the conditions and within the limits set by order of the Minister for Health, to the elected trade union representatives of the maieutics students when they attend trade union meetings.

Subject to the provisions of articles R. 6153-105, R. 6153-107 and R. 6153-109, the procedures for applying this section are specified by a joint order of the ministers responsible for higher education and health.
