Subsection 2: Compensation for jobseekers

Articles R. 5422-1 and R. 5422-2 do not apply to Mayotte.

For employees who have been insured for one hundred and eighty-two days or one thousand and fourteen hours during the twenty-four months preceding the end of their employment contract, the period during which the insurance allowance is granted may not be less than one hundred and eighty-two days.

Notwithstanding article R. 5524-4, when the person concerned has not exhausted the rights to the back-to-work allowance previously granted to him/her and he/she fulfils the conditions for a new opening of rights, the duration of compensation is established in such a way as to allow payment of the highest overall amount of rights and the amount of the back-to-work allowance calculated on the basis of the highest daily reference salary,…
