The same rules apply to public contracts concluded or organised by a contracting authority exercising one or more of the activities mentioned in 2° of article L. 1212-3 and which relate to the exploration of a geographical area for the purpose of prospecting for oil or gas.

The same rules apply to public contracts concluded by a contracting authority to carry out the activity of a network operator which are subject to articles L. 2514-1 to L. 2514-4 or become so pursuant to article L. 2514-5.
