The request for support of a professional transition project is sent by the employee to the regional inter-professional joint committee responsible for his main place of residence or to the committee responsible for his place of work, after he has obtained his employer’s agreement to benefit from the professional transition leave. If the employee has a fixed-term contract, he may apply to the relevant regional inter-professional joint committee for a vocational transition project during the term of his employment contract.
