Subsection 3: Contribution of the armed forces health service to other public health initiatives

Army hospital vaccination centres that meet the conditions listed in article R. 3115-64 are authorised to carry out the vaccinations required by the International Health Regulations. This authorisation appears on the list provided for in article L. 6147-7. The Armed Forces Medical Corps is authorised to carry out specialised biological and medical assessments requiring the use of special facilities or equipment.

The Armed Forces Medical Corps shall, where necessary, provide assistance to deal with exceptional health situations resulting, in particular, from infectious diseases with epidemic potential, natural disasters, technological accidents or malicious acts.
