Subsection 2: Tasks and activities of internal-use pharmacies

The internal-use pharmacy shall have premises, staff resources, equipment and an information system enabling it to carry out the tasks provided for in Articles L. 5126-1, L. 5126-5 to L. 5126-8 and L. 5126-10, as well as the activities provided for in Article R. 5126-9 which it is authorised to carry out in application of the provisions of this chapter.

When an internal-use pharmacy is no longer able to carry out one or more of its tasks and activities, it may entrust other internal-use pharmacies with their implementation. The competent administrative authority referred to in Article L. 5126-4 shall be informed immediately of the adoption of such an organisation, of the expected duration of its implementation and of the measures necessary to restore the normal operation of the internal-use pharmacy.
