The French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons may ask the person applying for asylum to undergo a medical examination.The asylum seeker’s refusal to undergo this medical examination does not prevent the Office from ruling on his/her application.Medical certificates are taken into account by the Office alongside the other elements of the application.
