Subsection 8: Family members of foreign nationals holding a multi-annual residence permit bearing the words "talent passport", "talent passport - European Blue Card", "talent passport - researcher" or "talent passport - researcher - mobility programme".

If they are at least eighteen years old, the spouse of the foreign national mentioned in articles L. 421-9 to L. 421-11 and L. 421-13 to L. 421-21 will be issued with a multi-annual residence permit bearing the wording “talent (family) passport” for a period equal to the remaining period of validity of their spouse’s residence permit.

Where the family was already constituted in a Member State of the European Union where it was admitted for residence, the spouse and children of the foreign national holding the residence permit bearing the words “passeport talent-carte bleue européenne” provided for in article L. 421-11 shall be issued with the residence permit referred to in article L. 421-22 bearing the wording “talent passport (family)”, provided that they apply for it…

The spouse of the foreign researcher mentioned in article L. 421-15, as well as the couple’s children, are admitted to residence under the same conditions as this foreigner, without the condition provided for in article L. 412-1 being applicable, and are entitled to work in the event of long-term mobility.
