A foreign national authorised to enter France on asylum grounds is issued with an eight-day regularisation visa without delay. Within this period, the competent administrative authority will, at his request, issue him with an asylum application certificate enabling him to lodge his application with the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons.
