Section 1: French Office of Immigration and Integration

The French Office for Immigration and Integration is administered by a Board of Directors made up of:1° A Chairman appointed by decree;2° A Member of Parliament and a Senator;3° State representatives;4° Representatives of the Office’s staff;5° Qualified individuals.

The Board of Directors of the Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration deliberates on the annual activity report presented by the Director General, which includes quantitative and qualitative data by gender as well as data on staff training initiatives, in particular on taking into account gender and vulnerability issues in the reception of asylum seekers.

The French Office for Immigration and Integration includes a medical service. The article L. 556-11-1 of the General Civil Service Code is applicable to contract doctors hired by the French Office for Immigration and Integration to carry out the tasks defined in 4° and 7° of article L. 121-1 of this code.

The rules governing the organisation and operation of the French Office for Immigration and Integration are determined by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.
