Section 2: Provisions specific to Mayotte

The provisions of this book shall apply ipso jure in Mayotte, subject to the adaptations provided for in this chapter.

The competent administrative authority in the cases provided for in 1° of article R.* 732-3 is the State representative.However, the competent administrative authority in these cases is the Minister of the Interior when, at the time the house arrest is issued, the foreign national is in a department of mainland France, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin or Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.
