The administrative authority that ordered the foreign national’s house arrest pursuant to articles L. 731-1, L. 731-3, L. 731-4 or L. 731-5 sets out the procedures for applying the measure:1° It determines the perimeter within which he or she is authorised to move with documents proving his or her identity and administrative situation and within which his or her residence is set;2° It designates the service to which he or…

When the foreign national is placed under house arrest pursuant to 6° or 7° of article L. 731-3 or articles L. 731-4 or L. 731-5, the number of presentations to the police or gendarmerie units provided for in article R. 733-1 may be increased to four per day.

When the administrative authority requires the foreign national to surrender his or her passport or any identity or travel document in his or her possession, pursuant to article L. 733-4, it shall issue the foreign national with a receipt in exchange for proof of identity.The time limit granted to the foreign national for his or her departure shall, where appropriate, be indicated on this receipt.
