Subsection 2: Foreign nationals prohibited from returning to French territory

A foreign national who is notified of a ban on returning to French territory is informed of the enforceability of this decision and that the period during which he or she is banned from returning to the territory begins to run on the date on which he or she complies with his or her obligation to leave French territory.

The procedures for deleting an alert for a foreign national issued under a decision prohibiting their return are those that apply, under Article 7 of Decree no. 2010-569 of 28 May 2010 relating to the wanted persons file, to cases where the reason for registration in this processing has lapsed.
