The receipt issued, pursuant to article L. 597-1, to the foreign national applying for asylum in the French Southern and Antarctic Lands shall bear the words “Application for asylum made in the French Southern and Antarctic Lands, with a view to approaching the competent authorities in Réunion”.

The administrative authority referred to in the first paragraph of Article L. 597-1 is the High Administrator of the French Southern and Antarctic Lands. .
