Subsection 1: Common provisions

The Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration organises the training provided under the Republican Integration Contract. To this end, it ensures that foreign nationals register for the training courses and that they attend regularly and seriously.The civic training and language training mentioned in articles R. 413-12 and R. 413-13 are provided free of charge.

At the end of the prescribed training courses or at the end of the first year of language training, where this lasts for more than one year, the French Office for Immigration and Integration will give its opinion, in the light of the information sent by the organisations that provided the training courses and, where applicable, the information provided by the foreign national, on the latter’s attendance and seriousness at…
